To that end, Hydrocore have developed a real solution for electric vehicles in car park scenarios. This fire test seen an electric vehicle purposley over charged until it caught fire, it was then allowed to free burn for a period, then the Hydrocore System was activated.  

 

The Hydrocore system suppressed and confined the fire & damage to the test vehicle only, resulting in fantastic results which seen the adjacent vehicles remaining throughout the test at less than 50C with no fire damage. 

 

This solution sees a credible solution to the containment of electric vehicle fires, up to 80% reduction in water being used and resulting contimanted water, as well as no fire spread.
