Our Approach
Design
Our rigorous approach to design ensures that quality is designed into all our systems for the lifetime of our products. This covers not only the components and assembly, but also installation and maintenance.
Components
All components used in our products are themselves manufactured to the highest quality standards – especially the nozzle structures which are critical to the effective operation of a high pressure water mist system. All components are subject to a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) prior to assembly.
Manufacturing
You can read more about our manufacturing approach here. We operate a lean manufacturing process and conduct stringent testing on all components prior to assembly. All pumps are hydraulically tested, electrical systems run through a dry check and operating pressures for nozzles are tested to 150% of their operating capacity. Our staff are highly trained in delivering quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Calibrations
All our in-house measuring equipment is regularly calibrated to ensure accuracy. This rigour ensures that all measurements are both consistent and accurate: two key measures for any TQM system.
Installation
Our TQM approach applies equally when our systems are installed on-site. Whilst the installation itself is sometimes carried out by third parties, we insist that the same quality standards are applied to ensure safe and effective operation of our water mist systems.
Maintenance
Once a system has been installed and accepted by the end-user, we supply support to their maintenance schedule, with good and quick availability of any replacement parts, and technical support from our highly skilled support team.
Certifications
Our approach to TQM is evidenced by the growing list of certifications achieved for our processes and products. Details of these can be found below:
Our UK manufacturing facility is one of only a handful in this sector to have FM Approvals
FM Approvals include approvals for protection of:
Gas Turbines and Machinery in Enclosures
Local Application
Non Storage Occupancies, Hazard Category 1 (HC-1)
Other approvals are:
TUV Certifications for performance based fire tests
